Deal with stubborn grease stains: You might want to keep white chalk handy after you hear this trick. Rub white chalk on grease stains. White chalk will absorb the oil. Let it sit half an hour then wash the cloth. This will work for almost any kind of oil. If you don’t have white chalk in your home you can try cornstarch or talcum powder the same way.

Let your windows shine: You can easily make your own DIY window cleaning solution. 1 tsp of cornstarch to 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water, mix them in a spray bottle. Shake well before every use. Your windows will be crystal clear again.

Get rid of water spots: Hard water causes mineral deposits on faucets and fixtures. Dampen a microfiber cloth with white vinegar and place over deposits. After 15 minutes wipe it away. Vinegar breaks down the deposits. You can use the same trick to make your showerhead shiny again. Fill a zipper bag with vinegar, tie it around the showerhead. Leave it overnight and run the shower in the morning.

Clean your glass shower doors: You can easily clean water spots and soap scum with Brillo pad. Wet it and apply it gently. It will take the water spots away without scratching the glass. If you apply glass treatment every three months water you can avoid water spots.

Whiten the toilet bowl: For this one you can you can use a pumice stone. If it requires deep cleaning sprinkle 1 cup of baking soda in the bowl, let it sit for 5 minutes.
